The principal formula for damp-warm seasonal epidemic disease with equally severe dampness and heat. Hua Shi, Yin Chen, and Huang Qin clear heat and benefit dampness as sovereigns; Shi Chang Pu, Huo Xiang, and Bai Dou Kou aromatically transform dampness as ministers; Lian Qiao, Bo He, She Gan, and Chuan Bei Mu clear heat-toxins and disperse nodulation as assistants — together benefiting dampness, transforming turbidity, and resolving toxins.
