Wu Jutong's formula for late-stage warm disease with pathogen lurking in the yin level. Indicated for night fever with morning coolness, fever subsiding without sweating, ability to eat despite emaciation, a red tongue with scant coating, and a fine rapid pulse. Wu Jutong himself explained: 'Qing hao cannot enter the yin level alone, but bie jia leads it in; bie jia cannot exit the yang level alone, but qing hao leads it out.'
